The races for the 2026 season are now out. The 2026 season is going to be really exciting. The drivers and the teams will have to go through twenty four races, for the 2026 season.
The Formula 1 and the FIA have announced the calendar, for the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship. This means that the Formula 1 drivers and the Formula 1 teams will go on a trip again. They will have 24 rounds to complete. The Formula 1 will also have technical rules and the Formula 1 will start using advanced sustainable fuels.
The Australian Grand Prix is the big event of the year it happens on the weekend of March 6-8. Then the F1 community will travel around the world. They will go to five of the seven continents. This is really something. The last big event of the year is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix it takes place from December 4-6. The F1 community will be very busy they have a lot of traveling to do over the course of the year.
In the year 2026 the month of Ramadan is going to happen in February and March. This means that the Bahrain Grand Prix and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will be held again in the month of April.
The calendar has some changes to the order of the races around the world. For example the Canadian Grand Prix will now be after the Miami race from May 22-24. This is a help because it means that some of the equipment can be taken straight from the Miami event to the Canadian Grand Prix. This will make things a lot easier, for everyone involved in the Canadian Grand Prix and the Miami races.
This change makes the part of the 2026 season one big event that happens all summer. It starts in Monaco from June 5 to 7. Ends in Spain. The city of Madrid will have its Formula One event from September 11 to 13. The European leg of the 2026 season will be really fun to watch. The Formula One calendar is going to be very exciting with Madrid, as a stop.
The championship goes back to Asia for the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix. Then it is time for an event with three races, in the Americas. After that the 2026 season ends with the Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix. The Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix are really important. The championship finishes with the Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix.

Stefano Domenicali, the President and CEO of Formula 1 said that the year 2026 will be an era for Formula 1. This is when we will see a lot of changes in Formula 1. There will be rules for Formula 1 and for the cars that take part in Formula 1. The engines of these Formula 1 cars will be powered by fuel that’s one hundred percent sustainable. This means the fuel used in Formula 1 will be very good for the environment. Formula 1 is going to be very different because of these rules and the use of sustainable fuel, in Formula 1.
We are really happy that Madrid is now part of the schedule. It is great to see big car companies like Audi, Cadillac and Ford become part of the Formula 1 events. The Formula 1 grid is going to be very interesting with these automotive brands, like Audi, Cadillac and Ford.
This 2026 season is going to be something special. We will get to see the drivers in the world at twenty four amazing global venues. The drivers will push themselves to be the best they can be. It will be exciting to watch. There will be a lot of racing with the cars right next to each other on the track. The fans of the racing will love it. In the year 2025 the Formula One calendar has 24 venues and six of these venues will have Formula One Sprint events. The Formula One Sprint events, for the 2026 season will take place in China, Miami, Canada, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Singapore.
And with the significant changes to the Formula 1 technical regulations for 2026, there will be three pre-2026 season tests. Test one will be a private test and will take place at Spain’s Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on January 26-30. Test two will be at the Bahrain International Circuit on February 11-13, with test three at the same venue on February 18–20.
