The Pakistan Super League is having its ever player auction on Wednesday, February 11. This is a deal because the Pakistan Super League is getting two new teams. The two new teams are Hyderabad and Sialkot. They will be joining the six teams that are already, in the Pakistan Super League. The whole thing will take place at the end of March. The Pakistan Super League is really exciting. People are looking forward to it.

Before the psl auction each team was allowed to keep four players. The big news was that Mohammad Rizwan was let go by Multan Sultans and Haris Rauf was let go by Lahore Qalandars.

Babar Azam was kept by his team Shadab Khan was kept by his team and Shaheen Afridi was kept by his team.

Steve Smith was a signing, for Sialkot before the psl auction even happened. Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Rauf were the players that everyone was talking about because they were released by their teams.

Each franchise has a budget of PKR 45 crore for the auction. This budget of PKR 45 crore can be increased to PKR 50.5 crore. The increase, to PKR 50.5 crore happens if the franchise directly signs one player. This overseas player must not have played in the Pakistan Super League, which is also called the PSL, season.

Before the auction happens Hyderabad and Rawalpindi which was known as Multan before have the money to spend at the auction. They have PKR 50.5 crore.
